Activities

The abundance of activities for both adults and children - zip-line courses, Tree Zone, Landmark Forest Park, Wildlife trails and mountain biking trails to name just a few.

For a special night out, Muckrach Country House Hotel has superb food and the Bridge Inn at Aviemore is great when you fancy something less formal.

The Glenlivet Estate Visitors Centre is located in nearby Tomintoul and has information on all the walks and activities in the area. Our particular favourite walks are round Loch An Eilein at Rothiemurchus, up to An Lochan Uaine ('The Green Loch'), start point at the Reindeer Centre in Glenmore Forest, and Loch Vaa just before Aviemore. There are many more stunning walks to choose from.

The house is a short distance from skiing at both The Lecht and Cairngorm.
